Dr. Jamie McClanahan is the Senior Pastor at Wayne Hills Baptist Church (Waynesboro, VA). He is married to Crystal and they have two teenage children. Jamie obtained an B.S., MAR, MRE, MDIV, and a DMin. from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary, and has served in a variety of full-time ministry roles since 2001. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Christian Leadership from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He has a passion for seeing believers become mature disciples of Jesus Christ through the preaching of God’s Word, shepherding the flock, and equipping the saints for the work of ministry. Additionally, he has a heart to help encourage, equip, and empower pastors for resilient and effective local church ministry. In his free time he enjoys watching Steeler and Penn State football, fishing, hiking, and reading with family and friends.
